Hmm, interesting, this and Ebay pictures add say 8 pieces, but Photobucket pic
and slide show at bottom of ebay add more pieces, collars for chassis rail, tubes x 2? and more.
Is it just the 8 collars, or do you get all that is shown in picture below?

What are the tubes? Do they go through chassis rail for reinforcement?

Or am I mistaken? Is the photo's of machining process?

Does the bottom chassis rail bolt collar double as x member locator?

So aluminium washers jammed between steel parts known to move, sounds like aluminium will be slowly crushed, unless its a ridiculous grade. Curious as to why steel wasnt used?

    How strong is D16t Aluminum?
Can these be made in a high tensile steel version?

EDIT: found this in reference to Aeronautical question:
D16T is close equivalent to 2024-T4

    And then this on Wikipedia
It is used in applications requiring high strength to weight ratio

So are these the original spoon branded part:

Or are they remanufactured/made by you?

I've heard varying results since they hit the market few years ago...

    No, no, no...
it's just a picture of all the parts that I did that night. This parts for the engine and for my bike.

Set includes 4 one-sided collar to center bolt from above.
And the 4 double sided washers centering x member to the body.

Yes it is a double, just in this photo is not visible.

No, aluminum will not crushed. It will take the form of holes and will remain so.
If you do these from steel than in most cases they can not come up.
After all the cars on which they are installed is not new and the holes in the body and x-members may be different from car to car.

This is the strongest grade of aluminum, which can be found within a radius of 1500 km.

I can make it out of steel, but on request.
Because I do not see the point.

No, these not original SPOON kit.

    These made by me.
The first set I made for my AE70, and only after that decided to make them for sale.
