Should make towing a bit easier!
UPDATE:
Well, due to so many cars I am building right now, the Aristo has undriven for about 6 months.
I started working on the turbo conversion this week.
I decided to just do the Aristo properley the first time, and I am upgrading the fuel system now as well...
For the fuel system, I have bought brand new SARD 650cc injectors from Japan, a Walbro 255l/ph intank pump, new fuel filter (absolute #### to change), and a new Toyota fuel reg....
I also bought a new TIAL 44mm external wastegate
Removing the intake piping and twin turbo setup was quite time consuming and took patience, and the right tools. Was a great moment when they came out! hahaha. There is actually a fair bit of engine bay free there now.
You need to block off some water and oil lines off the block, which I've done with Speedflow fittings/caps etc. I have braided line and Speedflow fittings to feed the turbo.
Removing the fuel rail, with the manifold still on etc, was also not an easy task, but was possible.. Much more fiddley than removing the twins, having to remove heaps of shit, old brittle loom clips breaking , and sliding the rail out the front etc.... Out came the stock 440cc injectors and in went the new SARD 650cc yellows. Putting back together was frustrating, I dropped a injector grommit (twice!) and they didn't hit the ground I wasted about an hour looking for the damn things, where you simply cannot see what the fuck your doing
Fuel rail etc is all done now.
Should have it done by the end of the week. I will still need some exhaust work done before I will be able to drive it or get a tune....

Project bankrupt is getting close to completion now..... Just a few more small bits and pieces left and then a new dump pipe and I will be ready to lose my license

I wanted to brighten up the motor. I already had the cam covers done in black, and I still needed to do the top valley cover, and this is how I went.....
I have smoothed the cover, by, removing the lettering "3000 Two Way Turbo" and the Toyota badge.
All that is left now is to get a dump pipe made up and fit up a Turbosmart (Vee port) BOV to the intake piping.

I now have the exhaust system finished. Custom 3.5" dump > 3" system, and screamer pipe off the W/Gate.... Thanks to Daniel at Impossible Fabrications for all his help...

I hope that you didn't pay too much for that, good to see the car will be going soon
The new heater tap arrived from Amayama..... $53 delivered from Japan.
You can see why it needed replacing...
I also mounted up the Turbosmart BOV to the intake piping -
All the conversion is now done.
I still have a few more things to get (eg fluids, few specific hoses etc) before I can think about trying to start it up. Money is tight at the moment, and with all the other cars, things have slowed right down in the spending department
