    This is the tow car for all towing dutys required

    SPECS: (NOTE: specs list below is constantly updated)

    1991 JZS147 Black Toyota Aristo
    JDM LEAD bodykit

    ENGINE:
    2JZ-GTE - converted to single Turbo (Jan 2014) - 173,000kms (was imported to Australia with 108,000kms in 2008)
    Borgwarner Airwerks SX300 60mm turbo, .88 rear housing, carbonite braided lines with Speedflow fittings, will be running 20psi
    SARD 650cc injectors (Brand new JAN 2014)
    Replaced genuine Toyota fuel pressure reg (JAN 2014)
    Genuine Tial 44mm MVR wastegate (JAN 2014)
    Walbro 255l/ph intank fuel pump (JAN 2014),
    Braced stainless T4 manifold (JAN 2014),
    Turbosmart Vee Port BOV (JAN 2014),
    Replaced Coil pack wiring/connectors/plugs (Jan 2014)
    NGK BCPR7ES Spark plugs
    100,000kms service done. Waterpump, crank seal, cam seals, timing belt, tensioner, tensioner pulley, other seals and fresh Toyota Red coolant. All Genuine Toyota (Jan 2013)
    Head has been replaced with a fully reconditioned unit (2008)
    Front mount intercooler
    The Stock ECU and a Apexi Neo.... (cant afford an aftermarket ecu just yet)
    EBoost2 - currently 20psi
    Custom 3" V-band dump pipe, Full Stainless exhaust - Awesome deep note.
    Custom baffled Catch can, with Speedflow DASH 10 fittings everywhere. PCV valve removed from cam covers with DASH 10 fittings welded on (JAN 2014)
    Blitz Air pod
    Custom engine detailing (JAN 2014)
    New heater tap (JAN 2014)

    BRAKES:
    4 pot Celsior (late model) front brake conversion (Awesome calipers and bigger rotors)
    New Slotted and cross drilled front rotors
    PMU pads
    Upgraded rear brakes too with new slotted rotors

    DRIVETRAIN:
    Fully rebuilt Auto gearbox with Shift Kit and 3000rpm stall converter
    Cusco 2way LSD

    SUSPENSION:
    TEIN Superstreet Coilovers

    WHEELS :
    Rota Grid
    Front 18x9
    Rear 18x10.5 Federal Evo's 280x30x18"

    BODY + INTERIOR:
    Black re-spray in Japan. Has some chips......
    JDM VIP kit with unique qtr panel side vents
    Custom Front grill
    Custom Heavy Duty Tow bar setup designed for towing cars....
    Due to the Aristo chassis, I am recommended not to tow over 2000kg
    Icy Cold Aircon
    Aftermarket stereo system with sub


    The 2JZ is an absolute animal.... Really an amazing motor.... Currently making 336rwkw...
    It will tow a car on a trailer (2100kg) at pretty much whatever speed you want, even up hills. It doesnt slow down at hills, it just keeps powering along.


    Anyway, this car will travel alot, and this thread will be more of a scrapbook with pics from it's journeys around Australia.....

    It might bore some people, but it might interest a few, so here she is.....

    I like. How do your coilovers go with towing a car? The rear end squat much?

    No rear squat at all.......

    The coilovers are not bad, but I will be looking at getting some stiffer and more adjustable ones next....
    I believe TEIN Supertreets are a basic street coilover....

    Looks good! I was thinking of getting a celsior to use as a tow car.
    But this should go well and serve more than just a tow car, haha.

    Stalling up with a trailer on the back is a retarded idea.... I would never do that...... It would prob rip the whole back off the chassis.... lol

    no no. thats not what i meant at all........

    i was speaking more of taking off under load......do you notice more of a stall effect during towing?

    Yeah, I gathered you must have meant somethnig else... It still gave me the funny image in my head of someone stalling up and launching with a car and trailer on the back..... lol

    I cant say i noticed any differance between towing or not........
