Ahh fair enough, i think ive just been unlucky/no mechanical sympathy. im sure it will be fine.

If you do decide to do it in the future, i cant recommend the niteparts bellhousing enough, OEM style in its design, and fits the larger GZE clutches without a problem. ive had some shithouse adaptor bellhousings in the past, wish id bought a niteparts to start with!

What oil are you running in your T50 dude?

Ahh yeah. With working away I don't see myself catching every drift practice. So I'm sure it will be fine. Plus I am new to drifting, so I hope me learning to slide the E7 doesn't factor into me ruining it.. Haha.

For sure, I have read up a little bit on them. Reviews are awesome from what I've read. So If the conversion does go ahead later on down the track, will definitely use one!

    Thanks again lads!

Any particular grade of oil and additive that you use?

These 2? Is the 75W-85 the recommended one to use? Seems to be the most commonly used weight. Would other weights be recommended depending on the wear of the box? Or is the 75W-85 weight the one that's always used?

Yeah, I ended up getting hooked up thankfully with some 2nd gear synchros as my box came with stuffed ones. Yeah, I'll be looking to do it also, later on down the track. I'm going to see how the T50 handles with how often I drive it. Plus I'm only running a stocker 4AGE 16v. Haha.

Sweet dude, cheers. We ran that to start with, but without the additive. Tried another oil. So will go back to that but with the additive.

    Cheers.

The question isn't will the T50 hold up, but how long will it last.
If you use a good T50 adapter (like a AZ customs) then go for it, knowing you will break it, but use the parts from it to adapt W5x box up to 4AGE.
If your not going to use a T50 to W bellhousing adapter, you could always sell your T50 while its still fresh after new synchro's and get decent coin for it.
    If the latter,
Put that towards a W box?
Saves you destroying it for second time, and having broken T50 that needs rebuild again.
You will spend at least $1500 od on setting up a W series/Mount/Clutch/Fly/PP/Slave/Tailshaft, (more if you go with Niteparts Bellhousing)
What I'm trying to say is the money you'll spend fixing T50 could be better spent.
What are your plans for the car?
If GZE, or Turbo are on the cards, which for a lot of us is the plan, then don't waste your time or coin on T50.
I'd be aiming at making box and diff bullet proof to save you in the long run.

Curious? What side of the motor does the Niteparts bellhousing put the slave? is it on exhaust or intake side?
