    Default 4age Vacum Line help!


    TO REMOVE ADS, PLEASE

    Car - AE86

    motor / part in question - Vacuum Line

    problem - Car starts then dies.

    occurs/started when (if applicable)- Just today-after replacing head gasket

    personal situation (if applicable)- Finally got my ae86 to start but it wont idle and the pic below shows were Im sure the vaccum leak is coming.

    It's a 4age in North America and all are AFM.

    Most guys on these forums wont have any idea of what vac lines you are supposed to have hooked up because our 4age engines dont have them (we have pretty much 3 in total - 1 to FPR, 1 to map sensor and 1 to charcol canister).

    If that's a vacuum leak, it's a big one. Is the booster hooked up?

    What booster?

    I'll admit I dont know much about the 4age. Please explain?

    the big vacuum hose (internal diameter of about 5mm) the goes frome the manifold the big black thing the the brake master cylinder bolts to.

    Yea its connected, you can see it in the first picture too.

    One last thing is must this be connected:


    Female connector is stuck onto it and wire broke..
