Default W58 'style' gearboxes from rollin automotive?

anyone have any experience/feedback/comments with these gearboxes ?

looks pretty well priced for a 'new' w58 if its as good as a genuine factory box.

Are they back door genuine "after market" or some kind of copy? I don't know.
Makes you wonder if half the W5x boxes we see are real?
There was a company many years ago back dooring Toyota genuine parts in from Japan and flogging the dealers with them, can't think of the company name, they where bought out by repco, but they specialized in gearbox's.
I have seen from time to time crated W58 up for sale on varies forums and sales sites.
But in saying that, you would think, the way the Rolins like to price things if they were the real deal, they would wear an extravagant price tag.
    Might be worth a call.

they are a copy - not toyota

    would definitely not trust

and rollin charge $880 for a used T50....

so if the NEW W58 were worth their salt they would be more than $880....

They'll be from China. They may look like Toyota parts but they won't have Toyota quality. They may do the job for your application though.

I see dumb people. Driving around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dumb.

hmm, good to hear some thoughts as the way they advertise them is a little confusing... I wonder how they would hold up though compared to the genuine Toyota boxes? anyone wanna experiment lol?

Ive only heard of someone running a 'aftermarket' china w series in a race car and it didnt last long in its first race, dont know what car or what was done to it but aparently the gearbox was shit. But yeah a 'new' w series for 770 just doesnt even sound nice
