W57 GL-4 OK?

Hi, just did search, found this but doesn't answer my question.

Is GL-4 gearbox oil ok to use in W57?
Reason I ask is a have GL-4 handy.

And this for W58 which states
API service GL-4 or GL-5
SAE 75W-90 or 80W-90


Strange I can't actually find W57 reference.

Stuff we use at work in every manual is VMX80


So if it's anything like that should be fine.

Its GL4 80W
Box was bought off these forums, prolly had a hard life.
