check if the vac line from the inlet manifold to the booster is still connected. follow the line from the booster to the inlet. if its connected and the line has vacuum when running. your brake booster is out.
Hey lads, was driving home from work just now and when I was coming down the road to my house presses the break pedal but the was fairly hard upon just barely applying pressure to it and the breaks were very poor, they were working perfect to this point, any thoughts or solutions?

you have no vacuum assistance, check vacuum line from intake mani to brake booster
Thanks for the response lads, is that the 8-10mm line that rises vertically out Id the intake manifold just before it meets the block? Checked it this morn and all seems connected?
follow the line FROM the brake booster. there is only one vac line that comes off the brake booster. make sure its connected and has vacuum when running.
Yep that is the line...
Hard peddle is usually always vacuum related

Just checked there the hose is connected with no leaks, I disconnected the pipe at the brake master cylinder and there seems to be good suction, any suggestion, thanks for the feed back lads!
run the car, turn it off then pull the line off after the one way valve and see if its holding vacume
id dear say booster shat itself
Sounds like ur booster has packed it in. Just feels like when u try and brake with the motor off like roll starting or something like that. My te71 one died n was the same. No vac assist.
yeah, sounds like the booster might have given up....
When you turn the engine off, can you hear any air escaping from around the booster area?
