Default so i finally got an 86

hey guys, figured i would put this up to get motivated

    so i have this

    did a bit of this

and then it decided to be a dick and break 2 engines in 2 events so i got over it for a while.

anyways during this time i found myself trawling the web looking at various things (boobs) when i found this

i wasnt really looking for another car but this was cheap as chips so figured i'd at least go check it out and within minutes of seeing it i put a deposit down and collected it the next day.

she's a little rough around the edges but has minimal rust and a neat jap bigport conversion including jdm tank so pretty happy so far. been collecting a few parts while i was away for work, so far i've got greddy coilovers, bride zeta and rail, nardi classic, a heap of parts ordered from ajps and today picked up a kouki passenger seat, zenki lip and 10pt. cage

the car came with a stripped interior and i can't be bothered trying to chase parts to restore it so will just be keeping it minimal. going to try make it a bit lighter with frp bonnet and hatch and lexan rear windows and get some jap doors or gut mine since the cage has side intrusion bars

plan is to get the suspension sorted, paint inside and out, thinking probably beige but thats been done a lot so dunno yet, then hopefully i can find a decent priced t series and get some 4.77s, then finally get some cams and exhaust

so yeah, should be fun. hopefully don't bin it first time out haha
