You shouldn't need a top feed fuel rail for a 20v...plenty of side flow options that are more than capable of feeding a 20v...how serious exactly is the engine? Turbo? E85?
hi all

what off the shelve options are there?

hey mate
e85 na build looking for roughly the 650cc mark
the side feed injectors are 'hard' to find coz the style the are used on 3s and 2j only (correct me if im wrong) and are not as common as say sr/rb side feeds
i also only need 4 so buying 2nd hand ones out of a 2j are more exy because im buying 6
i am also a little worried that the standard rail cant flow enough or is too restrictive feed wise
cheers

if you have a silvertop i have a silvertop manifold converted to suit top feed ill post pics when i get up
the dyno pull to 300rwkw
BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less
im looking into the same thing as im going hicomp boosted 20v so i am going to make id1000's fit into the stock manifold because they are $100 each so really cheap and easy to tune and the idle you can get with them is perfect i have got the pics of the manifold
the holes need to be bored out a little to suit these injectors but id's are very thin through the guts so it shouldnt need it i havent got my id's yet to trail fit them in my spare blacktop throttlebody manifold but it should fit then all you need to do is get some fuelrail stock make some holes and brackets and away you go it sounds more complex than it is but i hope the pics help mind you this manifold is for sale i just haven't really tried to sell it

Looks interesting...I'm not sure what daim is running on his motor (300rwkw ae101 on martini re85) but definitely still running side feed with no issues

he is using sard 700cc or something they are way to expensive for what you get they are about $800-$1000 for a set of 4 and the advantage of a top feed fuel rail gives you more opportunities to run higher pressure because you are stuck with the diameter fuel rail in the ae111 and 101 because the fuel rail is integral

Not something I'd bother doing on my current motor...but the next one is going to be silly...
someone needs to CNC a manifold with top mount fuel rail and all kinds of pretty stuff to suit 20v and ae111 throttles :p

you are correct i have ideas for it but the price would be massive and there wouldn't be enough people buying them

only issue i have is my 20v mani is modified with a wedge plate so i am not too sure as to how a top feed rail will sit
can you please update this when you get the id's in penis?
=)
