Sup .. Really keen to buy a mint and i mean mint ae86 ,, live in mackay but have no problem traveling
to view good merchantise !! Plus looking for a dash for ae86, any ideas on price or where id pick one up ..

If you're dead keen on one that has to be mint you will be waiting a very, very long time to find one for sale and it will be a hell of a lot more expensive than a car that presents to a reasonable standard. Get your dash recovered, you'll never find a new dash for an 86. Sponsors on this site that do trimming, and at a very high standard.

Just moved here mate last month so if u dont have anything postive to say regarding my post u can get farrkd..
Cheers jimmy , goin to look at a clean 86 4ac that has had a twin cam engine installed and rear axle with lsd installed.. There basically the same thing right ? Looks a nice motor and rust free, u no much about the 4 ac engines ?? Cheers

4acs are 1.6 carby motors that were installed in adm sprinters. Designed for economy and aus conditions. They are not a performance engine.

Wod the 4age motor fit straight in mate with new loom , there same shell arent they as the jap twin cam right ?

Here are a few different 86s. One is cleaner than the other but the price reflects that.





I guess it comes down to your budget and whether you want to do a conversion or buy one done by someone else or by the factory.

I know a guy who has ten new, never used OEM 86 dash pads but I'm pretty sure he's not keen to sell any of them but it proves they exist. Yahoo has clean ones come up occasionally, too.
