    Default Slow start ae70 :)

Hi guys , I'm brand spanking new the forums ,but I like share with u guys my '82 Corolla AE70 hardtop.
This little grandpa spec will be my daily for the next few months untill the skyline is up and rolling. But after that I wanna put some good hours into it ,to get it juiced up for track racing (grip)

Its currently running a healthy but slow 3A-U auto with AC (working) and PS ,and look pretty good for its age

When the time comes to start the build If got a few options I wanna explore
,maybe do a CA18 or SR20 ,instead of the 4age

But like I say its gunna be a slow build (currently studying Meg. engineering) and wanna do it right first time around.

    PICS

If anyone got some tips or suggestions ,I am always open for new ideas

600 big ones ,I was also leaning more to SR20 power ,and if I play my cards right I can get a half-cut for a friend for next to nothing

should edit how much you got it for, cause if you ever wanna sell it they go for a fair bit! brilliant lookin thing, chuck it on some decent 14's. for the sorta rarity imo you shouldn't turn it into a track car.

Wow another one in WA. That makes 3 + 1 other I saw the other day.

As others have stated I would try and keep it original as these are much rarer than 86's. Get a 4age for this (keep the AC) and buy an ke70/ae71 4door to put the nissan shit in (too much cutting to make it fit right).

true... cant put nissan shit in a rare nice thing like that, put a 20v turbs in it, relatively cheap for the power potential and they are a great strong TOYOTA powerplant!!!

U guys ,got some good points ,maybe I should keep it original ,got a good interior and not alot of rust (mainly inside boot) , but the 3au got to go ,There's a lot of SR20 that I can find ,which I will def look at using for track use , but guess 4age is the best option for street car

    thank for the input
