It shouldn't of physically fit because the 4ac bolts are meant to be of a bigger head diameter
What is the difference between the 4AGE and 4AC flywheel bolt. Beside from there being 6 bolts for the 4AC vs. 8 for the 4AGE.
I screwed in a 4AC bolt to the 4AGE crank and that worked fine, however toyota parts has two different part numbers listed.
Any toyota bolt Guru's know the answer?

Ah my mistake, should have wrote that they "Threaded onto the 4age crank." So the head diamater is different.
yes, it's meant to be larger on the 4ac to the extent that they will not clear each other on an 8-bolt crank. Otherwise as you have found they are identical

Sorry to hijack but where can I buy the flywheel bolts from to fit a JDM 4age
* Toyota.... Some Toyota Dealers will have to order them, but you wont be waiting longer than 2 days.
* Off another motor - 4age flywheel bolts are not TTY (torque to yield), so its fine to use them again (as long as they still look ok, no rust etc)
* Aftermarket - eg ARP
