Following in Frederik Aasbo's footsteps, Ryan Tuerck has built a Rocket Bunny Kitted 2jz powered Scion FRS. This FRS will be the 3rd that has been purposely built for the Formula D Drift Series this year. Round 1 was hosted at Long Beach on the 13th April this year.

The rocket bunny kit is by far the most popular kit used on the Scion FRS, though there have not been many sightings of them on the Toyota 86 within Australia.

The 2jz has been rebuilt with a 3.4l BC stroker kit, and some extensive head port work. A custom PSI turbo manifold / down pipe. Custom mounts were fabricated to bolt this motor in.

The electronic power steering has been removed and replaced with a conventional pump / hydraulic power steering setup.

The weight distribution between the car is 49% up front with 51% at the rear.

Here is an amazing video of the car in action...

Quite a smallish turbo to keep that lag low and the tyres spinning...

Well it is in one of the most filmed Drifting events in the world so you'd imagine styling comes into it at some point.

    Hopefully..
