    Default mcBens lazy 86 rebuild

So I've had my 86 for about a year now, and things haven't been moving as swiftly as I would have hoped. This is mostly due to being lazy, but also playing pro bball, travelling, uni etc..

Bought it impulsively from Sydney from some dude who is most definitely blind and also has a hearty diet of bog. It looked like this -

the guy told me it was rust free, and after getting it in Adelaide I was pretty mad to find heaps of it straight away..

    such as -

    You get the idea..

However, after bitching about it for approximately a month I decided to fix it.

Which brings me to the happenings of the last 6 months of working on this car.. (took me like 3 months to strip it down, classic)

    I had previously never:
    -picked up an angle grinder
    -picked up a welder
    -seen rust this horrific
-done any sort of car bodywork

this is how it sits currently, rust free just about

bit of light surface rust in photos due to cleaning so it doesn't look as nice as possible.. but still

Plan from here is to paint the underbody and engine bay with Kbs so it looks and feels super mint. After that I will repaint/refurbish/replace all the parts and put it back together hopefully. The respray job was average so it has orange peeling, but it might buff out.

Thankyou sirs, many questions to come
