    Default SR20 KE70 clearance issues

Hey guys, just asking for opinions and advice..

I have dropped my sr20 into my ke70, I couldn't manage to get the gearbox and engine in one go cause it was getting jared up against the PS rack.. so I un bolted the tranny and now just the engine is sitting in,
I've had a look and there's some clearance issues with the tunnel.. now should I bash it out? cut the tunnel? just wondering for ideas or ways to get around it..

I am running all ae86 front set up..

    thanks guys!

What mounting kit are you using?

The way mine is setup, and just set up another setup the same, requires cutting and welding of the tunnel/firewall....... This way uses a custom mounts to mount to a std 4a crossmember to retain close to standard steering geometry...

You may need to also drop the X member to make it easier to get the box/engine in as one..

Ones I bought off 'anastaios' they looks like a home job, they came with no rubbers. The engine has no room to play so I'm gonna have to run them solid..

    what are your thoughts?

if you dont plan on cutting a box out of your firewall you will need to bash the trans tunnel out with a mallet

yeah, seeing I haven't got the experience welding I think bashing it out will be the way to go..
i just want it to fit, don't really matter on aesthetics!

I just flogged my tunnel and can get my box/engine in as one, its a tight squeeze but manageable.

I'd stick with 86 front setup I've heard s13 front end has bad geometry in a ke/ae . I wouldn't know personally though
