Should be fine, you should look to upgrading to coilovers in the future, king springs with those wheels and you will get mad wheel rub
Hi guy,
i have been building a 86 up for the last 4 years started off pretty much back at a shell... I'm now up to the wheel stage and what I want to know is what's the biggest wheel offset u can fit under a 86 with out hitting suspension set up...
so I'm running semi factory set up.. King springs with KYB shocks.. And I want to fit 15x8-4 front and 15x10-12 rear... Can I do so with this set up or do I need to upgrade to coilovers?
guards are crazy big so no problem there!!
any help would be great guys cheer!!!

Yer I was looking at upgrading... That will be the step after body work and paint.... Any coilovers u recommend?
shockworks, mid priced but great quality.
make sure you pre fit your 10"wide rear rims before you do your body work, you'll need to pump your guards for those rims. be smarter to go with 8" all round to be honest, cheaper better fitting tyres and you wont have to hack up your body.
just my 2c

Rear guard work has already been done fronts still need to be sorted... I had 8's on it and wasn't happy with the look... Cheers for the advise
are going to have longer front lca's to even out the track or something?
Coilovers are now ordered... Yes as for lca's I looked into the xt130 and sigma but missed out on the sales.. What lca's do most use
Nice. Which coil overs? Xt130 are the go for lca

XT130's won't make up for the difference in rear track with your wheels, I find 86's steer a bit off when the front track doesn't at least match the rear.
I picked up a set of driftworks coilovers..
