    Default Has anyone done a coil over conversion on ae86 ADM

    Have standard diff and drums on back with shocks and looking to install https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/a...n-ae86-corolla plus the disk brake kit on rear from same guys has anyone done this.

    You'll need to ask them if their disk brake kit will suit a sr5 diff, same as adm diff. They had a gts corolla which had a t series. The mounting holes are different between both diffs. Some people here run a coilover/spring in one unit, I don't see the benefit

    those coilovers may bolt on as it depends on the mounting angle and brakes mostlikely won't as it won't have a backing plate for the caliper.
    Would end up being cheaper to buy a jdm rear end with lsd

    the BC coil over kit fits with no problem the only thing i would change on the diff is the panhard rod and all the bushes in the car to get the full advantage of coil overs

    I don't know if this is true but apparently you need to chop into the body to fit the T3 coil-overs. That said why wouldn't you just fit the completely superior Shockworks parts?

    Thanks for the help boys. So yeah thinking of the options jdm or f series just seeing what's out there not chasing huge power but will get used on track days a lot so needs to take it

    JDm diffs are worth heaps and the LSD's in them if their original are almost guarenteed to be stuffed, to top it off they have small rotors and tiny calipers.
