ke heater core into ae86

Hey guys
I have a broken heater core on my 86 and before i begin the gay process of removing it and replacing it with one i have in my ke shell, i was wondering if it would work?
Does it fit? will it work if i put it in?

Not 100%, but from memory the outlets that come into the engine bay face differant directions....... Nothing a few hoses couldn't fix.....

Yeah I noticed that. Was just unsure if it made a difference and if the firewall holes were the same distance away from each other?

AE71 heater core has both outlets pointing upward in case you want to use one instead of KE70. Not sure if either fits AE86.

Size wise the core is the same, just the pipes are facing different directions as above.

Either that or you can get your broken fitting put back on by a radiator shop then pressure tested.
