did i read right? 5.4 ratio???

also with the s13 mc did you get rid of the brake proportioner or just leave it all there? i'm after a bolt in mc for my rona brakes and hilux drums but don't want to go to the trouble of making up whole brake lines.

    good power though

Haha na good spotting, thats a typo. Diff is 4.5.
With the mc I had to block off one of the ports and bend some pipes around but apart from that it works fine and was an easy fit. But having the larger hilux drums on the rear might make it a bit different to going onto a corona?

I'm not really sure but you might need a brake bias controller.

Just ordered some new lca balljoints and rack/tie rod ends because the ones on there now are getting a bit sad. Hopefully my rca's will arrive this week and I can throw them on aswell

it's in a corolla. i've got the corona brakes at the front and hilux at the rear. so you're still running the standard bias/adaptor thingo on the strut tower just under the mc?

i think a 4.11 diff ratio would be best too. 4.3 is still quite short and it suits my ca pretty well but the sr has alot of torque so 4.11 would make for some high speed 3rd gear skids

    Exactly my thoughts
I am using the standard bias thats bolted to the strut tower without any dramas.
I did have some brake problems at first under boost but that turned out to be me forgetting a one way valve from the booster haha, all good now.

    Hey man looks clean!
im very skeptical of tuners out their.. i had an SR
    S14 - 264 - 12mm lift cams, GT2540 (440hp) 800cc inj, EMS
got it tuned and dyno'd and got 248rwkw on 18psi
when i drove it, the power didnt feel like 250 odd kw..
so eventually i took it to another (recommended) tuner which was unigroup engineereing
.. i told them what went down.. he asked to see the dyno sheet.. and he showed me how they had botched the final figures. just by where they place the dyno sensor's - as the dyno compensates and tells u how much power it would actually put out at a given standard air temp/density

anyway he retuned it.. it wasnt holding boost at 18(bleed valve) dropped it back to 16 psi and it made 210 rwkw -- drove it and it went 20 times harder then it did when dyno'd at 250kw. - beat a 32 GTR which had a fair few mods..

not paying your tuner out.. just think thats a bit hi for the mods your engine has....
has it got cams or anything else?

Yeh mate I know exactly what you mean, there are a few places around that give out higher readings than they should just to make the customer happy. I've seen one dyno sheet where the ambient temp and intake temp had a massive difference (around 30degrees) and from what I was told this was a sign that it wasn't a true power reading. Whether that makes sense or not I don't really know to be honest haha.

But if you were to go for a drive in my car you would see that the power figure is pretty spot on First time out at Willobank it ran an 11.8 @ 115Mph, pretty sure I put the vid up here? And that was running 4.5 diff gears where I was on 4th gear limiter a bit before the line.
Planning on sticking some 4.1's in this week hopefully.

No cams or anything else than whats listed, was run on pump 98 octane fuel and tuned at APC
