    Default Spark plugs W T F !!

Hey so the other day my car was running like shit and sounded like a wrx! First thing I looked at was the plugs and they were the problem. The set of plugs that were in the car were new and had no more than 50kms on them and when I installed them I defiantly did not over tighten them nor did I drop them. After new plugs went in, car runs sweeeet. (4agte)

Now, I'm am VERY! interested to know how the old plugs got like this. Could it simply be that the person in the store dropped them or just faulty plugs, or could something else cause this...

If it matters I was using a BCPR7ES-11.. I now put in the same plugs but with a 0.8mm gap

Standard gze coil packs, cam angle sensor and stock gze ecu. leads click down well onto the plugs.

happens when tightening and the rachet kicks a bit, cracks them then after driving they fall apart

Use a torque wrench to check how tight you do them up, not saying you over-tightened them but at least rule it out.

had a batch a while ago (last year) of denso plugs that you would look at them wrong and they would crack, 50 or so out of 100 lot we bought
