    Thanks, I appreciate the help guys ill start by getting a new thermostat. I probably won't be able to get one over the long weekend so I might just put something in front of the radiator to block half the air flow and hopefully that will help a little bit.

    Sounds to me like you're having trouble with statics, as in you're not doing enough of them. I'd get on the brake and see if that helps.

    Also are you running an oil cooler?
    If so you might wanna remove it for winter.
    Especially in your neck of the woods.

    No oil cooler everything is stock I just have a decent alloy rad.

    I put a pizza box in front of the radiator on the way to work this morning it took ages but it eventually got to 70'

    Has it always done this? The may not even be a thermostat in the housing?

    Is your temp gauge on bottom or top rad hose?

    Word, my Sr gets to like 78 on a normal drive and 88 if im giving it a thrashing, Nismo thermostat and alloy rad.

    Hopefully a new thermostat does the trick and the temp comes up.
