Guide bush is the part pressed into the side of the rack that comes out the passenger side of a manual steering rack. Basically your rack has some play where it comes out of the housing and the tie-rod bolts in.

hey lads,
took the ae86 in for an alignment the other day, old mate said he found a bit of play in the lh 'guide bush',
Is the circular one the one he's talking about?
recently replaced both and checked the bolts holding them in yesterday so I just wanted to make sure that there's not another one that i've missed

yeah its internal, i used to stock them from toyota at about 60 bucks a pop but they arent no longer available unfortunately

i had a look on toyodiy and came up with this link
the part number i can see that sounds like you need is 45522-10021 and 45522-10030
if they are the right parts then you can order from toyota japan through amayama at around $27 each. i have used amayama for a whole lot of random little toyota parts and the service is great
