    Default No Go!! immobiliser

    Car - 1986 Toyota Celica

motor / part in question - immobilizer

    problem - does not start

occurs/started when (if applicable)- the immobilizer fuse went

personal situation (if applicable)- so! The immobilizer fuse went in my mates st162! We replaced the fuse and placed all the wires the same way they were! And didn’t start! So we changed the prongs around and its ticked over but then the wires caught on fire!!! So were going to replace all the wires tomorrow! and see what happens!?
does and one have any tips why it might be burning all the wire?
and is there any way to take the immobilizer out? Cause we also tried that and it’s still not firing?

    thanks Blake

Would have to be a direct short to a wire without a fuse for it to melt the wires / catch fire.

To remove look around the barrel and find the wires that are cut and rejoin them.
