Nah it won't idle properly when cold without it, you will have to help it along until it warms up a bit.

Contemplated on getting a new ISCV from toyota, but for the price i think i can live with helping it idle till it warms up. Might rig up a manual choke mechanism or wire it up to make a flap open and close through a manual switch or something.

    anyway.

I haven't really had any time to work on the car. Sometimes my motivation just isnt there :/ and its pretty sad cause i really wanna start driving this thing!
So far, i've stripped most of the interior to get the trims painted in black, and also to give the rear boot area a coat of paint while everything's out, just to make it neater.
Going to push the car onto the driveway this weekend, and hopefully start taking out the engine and driveline. can't do it in the backyard because only half the car is on concrete at any one time haha.

    progress pics.
I'm making up my own block off plate for the iscv; might just do it out of metal sheets cut to place. I know ksd engineering makes a sexy billet one, but funds are a bit tight atm

    making up the stencil

Also took out the coolant pipe thingy sticking out the bottom of the throttle body, make things a bit more neater

And received some goodies from craig at justjdmimports. Thanks for the parts and awesome, quick and reliable service!
Diff and some interior bits (not pictured)

It's a JDM zenki rear disc - disc t series with TRD 2 way :3 cant wait to put it on!

Quick Q: FOR NSW Does anyone know how long a car would have to be out of rego for to have it require a blueslip inspection? I've heard 3 months and i've heard 14 days... So not quite sure
