Dash is finished and wheels are back from widening and have been sprayed. Tyres next week and it'll be sitting the way I want it.

    One step closer!

Mad sunny, got one myself and I was going to go put my carbed 4age setup into it.
what concerns me is that 4age never came out carbed, so to get it engineered it would need to be as factory efi or has to be emission tested to pass. Problem with mine is its an 85 model so its actually got to pass stricter standards (c) compared to earlier model trucks (pre 77 I think )yours looks to be earlier model as it has horizontal dash/speedo so u may be able to get it pass the older emission standards quite easlily, depending on how good your tune ends up too. anyway I'd love to know what year yours is? And what emission category it's in. I really hope u get this on the road cause its going to be the ultimate sunny . pics of these wheels?

    Cheers mate!

Yeah mines a '73 model I'm pretty sure. It's around there so an early model I definitely know that. Should be able to pass emissions relatively easily seeing as though it used to use lead additive to the fuel which isn't going to be added with the 4age.

    Update.

Loom is all taped under the guard and all tightened up and looking neat

Got the wheels back from widening/sand blasting and brushing the centre faces clean

Sprayed them with the charcoal/maroon colour I chose

And also repaired and sprayed the original light surrounds in the same colour as the wheels

And here's the wheels test fitted onto the car in my garage!

Quick one from last time it was rolled out of the garage probably a month ago haha

And I've finally got the dash repair finished off. Really stoked I took my time to get it fixed and get the dash in nicely cause it's looking really good now!

Never stumbled upon this one - it's really neat. I like it.
    any more updates since August?

I'll be taking a leaf out of your book for the wiring situation when my car eventually needs it. Stuff forking out 2k for some convenience.

Been a bit slack on the updates!

Basically I've been flat out working, while also doing bits and pieces on this over the last few months. It's pretty close to being finished, wiring is getting finished off on monday which only leaves me this list:

    - Interior fit out
    - water system (radiator, heater core)
    - exhaust
    - windscreens
    - carb hookup

Other than that, it's pretty well finished. A few little bits and bobs to tidy up but it's getting there. I'll grab a few more snaps maybe this afternoon and show you where it's at.

how did you get the textured look back on the dash?
my mate is thinking about doing the same to his c210 dash as its fucked but we are worried itll look shit with out the textured look the stock dash has...

love the car! if you remove the woodgrain off the c110 240k dash underneath it is the gtr alloy pannel.. looks so nice!
