I would check the oil, mine was doing a similar thing when I picked it up. Changed the oil to Penrite semi synthetic and it's much happier.
Hey guys so I have had my car now for about two months and just got it on the road about one month ago, how I don't know if this is common with ADM t50's but my Second gear syncro seems to be a little warn I think... 9 times out of 10 when I am shifting from 1 to 2 its fine but some times i hear a loud click? this maybe the syncro just lining up and doing its job, but again 9 times out of 10 when I down shift from 3 to 2nd... it clicks louder and doesn't really crunch but it does not feel right? the gearbox has only done 120 thousand, so it should be fairly fine... maybe in need of an oil change? or something along the lines.. thicker oil? something... but I just really don't want to buying something like a gearbox if I don't have to.. other then that the thing is fu*kin immaculate!
Cheers.

Yeah I thought it might be oil... what grade? 80w90? penrite 2.5L? whats the Gearbox capacity?
I use 75w-80, shifts a bit less notches. They take about 1.7l I think?
Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should.
And if you're confused:
haha.
As above make sure its got the correct amount of oil in it, over time it might have leaked out teh rear output shaft seal on the gearbox, check to see if thats leaking where the tailshaft goes in.
Drain all oil and fill it with some good quality stuff like Penrite.
RT142 Estate.
AJPS.
1.7L is correct. Maybe you could try an additive on top of some decent oil. Lucas oil stabiliser helped my gearbox, albeit a very little amount was used. Penrite also have one which I've used in my TRD 2 way lsd with good results.
thanks guys (: & hen it don't matter if i am "double Clutching" still does it haha
My T50 would flat out refuse to engage second on a downshift. I'd sometime have 3 or 4 goes trying to revmatch the down shift before it would glide in like the gear wasn't even there. Double clutching does work, you probably aren't getting the revs right.
Maybe im down shifting two fast.... i am used to a 6 speed anyways...
