Today I spent tightening all the suspension components once the car was on the ground and had been settled.

A little bit anally, I torqued everything to spec, and made sure it was all even.

Then, I filled up the brake fluid and bled the brakes.
Ended up using Nulon Super dot 4.
Cheap enough, has a 280+ degree dry boiling point, which was higher than other off-the-shelf Super dot 4s, and readily available.

The rear brakes bled without an issue, however I wasn't getting any fluid to the fronts.
It was pretty weird, so sussed it out a bit. It just so happened someone from the shop next door walked in and saw us doing it.

We were offered this fantastic contraption!

It's basically a brake fluid vacuum, that sucks any blockages through/speeds up the bleeding process.

Whacked it on the fronts, after a couple of pumps and squeeze (lol) all the fluid started coming out (lol again.)

Brake pedal feels good! And the brakes work!

Looks like a very nifty little tool! I despise bleeding brakes -_-

Here's an update of the few things I've been doing before I head back to uni next Monday

Picked up a pair of Twin Cam wheels. One AE82, and I think the other is an AE92 (not pictured)
I've pulled the leather off, and have begun to re-do it using black vinyl and waxed 1mm thread.

Body wise, I spent some time drilling the holes to fit up my redlines, and the number plate lights.

And very exciting! I painted the interior of the car! Painted in that Valspar no-primer ultra-sticky industrial paint.
It was a big toss-up between white or black, but I decided to go with black. It won't show as much dirt, and the interior of the car will be black anyway.

And last night, I picked up a pair of 264 HKS cams and gears on Yahoo!
Check out those cam gears - so rad!
