Im a big tv downloader/watcher to the tune of about 2tb last year.

    Standouts for me are:

    Breaking bad of course.5/5.

There's a great but little known comedy series that's ended now called . All the main actors got other jobs in other shows eventually and the show just ended after 2 seasons. Its about a typecast aspiring actor with a broken spirit, and is aptly directed by Fred Savage (Kevin Arnold- Wonder years). Stars Ken Marino (Eastbound and Down), Jane Lynch (glee, two and a half men), Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars), and has a lot of funny cameos. Since its set around a catering company, they have limitless potential to engage the cast into new environments. Every episode is very different and hilarious. 5/5.

Some reality shows I find interesting, Mainly Ax Men and Gold Rush/Bering Sea gold. 4/5

Saturday Night Live is getting funny again, new cast is developing. 3.5/5

Karl Pilkingtons the Moaning of Life is a great funny watch. Especially when he goes to LA and learns to Crump and Clown. 4/5

Two and a half men improved a lot since charlie was killed off, its actually a brilliant piece of sitcom writing to improve such a show without the pivotal lead. 3.5/5

I always watch the Ultimate Fighter. Its amazing. 4.5/5

Eastbound and down. Classic but well known now. 5/5

Being Mike Tyson - Mike Tysons' reality show. Its actually very tasteful and insightful. Its great.4/5

Kitchen Nightmares and along those lines, Bar Rescue.4/5

The Newsroom - Insightful show starring Jeff Daniels as a media anchor with scruples. Very powerful drama that deals with how the media chooses to portray certain things and their guiding ethics. Centres around political issues from the near past and how the media treated them. 4.5/5

What's in the barn? - Great reality show about US vintage motorcycle enthusiasts finding, and restoring priceless vintage motorcycles for their private museum. Think american pickers and American restoration rolled into one and totally focussed on bikes.4/5

Upper Middle Bogan - Surprisingly great Aussie comedy show about the cultural cringe between sectors Australian society. Stars Glen Robbins.4/5

Top Gear US - Shits all over the UK version. Hosts have genuine chemistry as friends and not swollen egos causing thinly veiled hateful banter. Plus Tanner Faust has world class driving credentials unlike any of the UK hobbyists. There was one episode last season where tanner used an ae86 trueno notchback to compete in a reliability challenge. Fucking amazing episode.4/5

Not so much a show but an awesome podcast - The Joe Rogan Experience - Covers a diverse range of topics regularly such as MMA, Conspiracy theories, Psychadelic drugs, Music, art, comedy, pool, martial arts and Jiu Jitsu, Politics, Current Events etc. Gets a lot of great guests, other stand ups including Bill Burr, Joey Diaz, Brian Callen, Russell Peters, Bobcat Goldthwaite etc. Fighters and martial artists like Eddie Bravo, Jeremy Stephens, Bas Rutten. UFC boss Dana white, astronaut Chris Hadfield, Scientists, just about anyone. Maybe 400 eps out already. He does 2 or 3 a week. Kevin Smith also does a great podcast. 5/5

Some of these already suggested are good. I am FIFO worker and on standby when I am at work, so we watch ALOT of TV. Just had to buy another 1tb hard drive.

Shows Ive got downloading and watching at the moment are:

    - Big Bang
    - American Horror story
    - Family Guy
    - The simpsons
    - The Walking Dead
    - New Girl. This show is great.
    - Modern Family
    - How I met Mother
    - Homeland
    - Boardwalk empire
    - Game of thrones

    All pretty normal and mainstream.

I have also got into a heap of car shows lately. These include:
    - Chasing Classic Cars
    - Legendary Motor Car
    - Inside West Coast Customs
    - Wheeler Dealers

You should really have a look at these shows. They are pretty good entertainment value and there are a few things to learn......
