    Question Xenon headlamps.

Where do I find ones that aren't going to blow after 200KM's!

Already tried Autobarn and they don't sell them.

Maybe if I went to Toyota direct and see if I can get some off an Aurion?

Are you referring to a XENON Halogen bulb (with filament) or the XENON HID (Has a ballast and no filament). If you are referring to the HID ones, they should last longer than 200ks, unless of course its one of them cheapy ones from china which is most likely the ones people would be able to get their hands on. They are available on ebay mainly from Hong Kong some of them are very cheap while some of them are average and some of them are more than what people are willing to pay. If you were to get them from another car such as the Aurion expect to pay top dollar for one, if you got one of them cheapy china ripoff ones they do have spare bulbs on eBay aswell for about 30 bucks I think.

If you are referring to the XENON Halogen bulbs something must seriously be wrong if they blow at only 200kms.

I'm told the HID World kits out of the US are pretty good, but of course are better again when used
    with philips globes.

But, yeah even with the as-supplied globes they have seen 2 years service on a couple of l/cruisers with no problems.

I had a similar problem... but mine was blown out after 15 mins from installation... and it was the wiring who made the probs...

It might have been the wiring then.

I might go for the Halogen bulbs unlike shitty cheap rip-offs.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Were you running a new relay with the HID? As I've also heard people having issues with HIDs as they did not run new relays, I personally don't run HID's as they tend to blind on coming traffic, and are not ADR Approved which can get you a defect.
