Few things have progressed slowly over the past months,

250 Series Teflon Braid hose for the P/S and oil cooler lines, needed to utilise the factory P/S pump outlet banjo as it was the easiest and tidiest way to adapt to a -6 outlet, and keep the idle up solenoid.

Machined a -6 steel bung to press fit tightly into the banjo which will be tigged up later.

Sussed out the P/S rack pressure side fitting with a M16 x 1.5 to -6 O-ring ended adaptor, the O-ring end wasn't suitable so I machined it of and ran it faced up with a copper washer.

The low pressure outlet is a alloy banjo to -6 fitting.

A few 6 x1.0 nutserts later and the P/S and Oil coolers were mounted to the back of the alloy bumper reo, I figure they will get enough air here and the reo they are mounted against acts like a big heat sink, truth be told the was the tidiest and easiest option for mounting them.

The Oil cooler lines are done in -10 and the thermatic filter sandwich plate is Mocal.

Also fitted one of these thingamagiggy whatsamabobbits kits to help with the steering.

Fitted spot on, a lot of thought has gone into the kit, roll centre correction, camber gain on turn is exemplary, no over centre, really nice.

I have done a lot of suspension work and alignments over the years and I'm impressed with this kit, keen to try it out!

    Cheers!
Car is back from having the exhaust fabbed up, very happy with the result as it is exactly as I specified.

Front to rear is 4" dump which steps back down to 3 1/2" then into a twin 2 1/2" collector and out to a pair of offset entry exit full flow 2 1/2" mufflers with 3" tips.

The wastegates join together and either plumback or dump, the whole shebang is V banded. Just need to flick it off now and give it a coat of paint.

Fuel cell mounting and fuel system next!

Did a little bit the past few months to the long termer.

All the alloy turbo intake, outlet and manifold inlet piping is done.

Due to the closeness of the turbo outlet to the front manifold wastegate pipe a 2" elbow was welded onto the snail.

BPP Billet Fuel rail in with Bosch 1000cc injectors, what a product, absolutely spot on fit and finish, even the packaging is sublime, comes with quality brand name fittings and o rings and even molykote assembley silicone for the threads and seals.

Made rid of the factory high mounted slosh tank and mounted a Jazz fuel cell in the spare wheel well.

Gravity fed Bosch 044 same as I have run before as it's simple and reliable.

Bent and welded up some steel flat bar for the base and alloy for the straps over the top and backed it all with rubber stripping then nutserted it all together.

Clutch time, had the option to either go solid or sprung centre on the NPC Twinplate as I had a set of both plates, decided to try the sprung first even though I have the feeling some springs are going to get loose in there eventually, see how we go.

I had to lathe a 2.5x2.5mm 45 degree on the inside back edge of the flywheel as it wasn't facing up on because of the lip on the crank.

Had to lathe down some ARP 4age bolts to get it bolted on as those are a tad too long as well.

Lathed up a spacer for the Howe concentric slave, found an appropriate length bolt to use as a stopper and made a line to the slave in -4 and a bleeder out and back up which will mount on the firewall in -3 black braid.

Seat mounts are in, finding a good seating position and I prepped the interior ready for paint this week.
