Mig mild steel wire to stainless
I've got a stainless flange but mild steel piping for my exhaust. Want to weld using mig and steel wire.
Will it work / hold? I've read it will rust, but I'm ok with that as it is only temporary / need to last a few weeks

Like Ben said, will work perfectly. Just won't look as nice.
It's no problem.
My welds don't look nice anyway so i think we are all good

Like gramps always says, nothing like a good rough strong cheap job. Perfect finishes are for show cars
