Any Toyota mechanics who know about Prius issues?

Hi guys,

My girlfriend has run her 2nd gen Prius out of fuel. I fuelled it and all was good for about a kilometre until the petrol engine started missing and it eventually turned off with every warning light coming on on the dash. It limped off the road in electric mode. It not will start the petrol engine for about 10 seconds then turn off again with the display only reading 'trouble'. It is down to one bar of battery.

If anyone can help or has a fault code reader and can fix it I'll pay lovely dollars!

From what i read thru all that, u take the negative batt terminal off the 12v source and leave it for a bit and it should be good when u restart it.
