    it was pretty rusty needed new bonnet hatch and wheel well. but it was $500 it ran and everything worked. I decided to respray it in two pack paint original colour. interior retrimmed in grey/black and all interior plastics resprayed in black, yes that is a ported and polished 4ac head.

    what paint did you use for the plastics? i used vht vinyl dye but it looks a bit different than how yours turned out

    I used motospray bumper black cans, (sand and prepwash 1st) the paint will actually bubble up for few seconds if you spray it too thick melting and fusing to the surface, this is what i did to the faded and crumbling sundamaged pieces (not too thick) it resurfaces it well. do second coat etc like normal
    the red is the original coulor only a bit redder
    I actually live west of Lismore.

    ah ok, i had some slight scratches and lots of dirt on this practice panel i did and i'm thinking about committing and doing my actual interior. however, i think the paint i'm using is a little too glossy to make it look legit and not like its just been painted with normal spray paint.

    i won't derail the thread any more now :/
