    Exclamation 18rg-ke70 please help!!!!

i have got my self a nice little 18rg which i plan on putting in my ke70. the motor came out of a ke36 pannelvan i think it is, so its got custom engine mounts and it sat perfect in the pannelvan so that the drop at the back of the sump sat right at the front of the crossmember so that the shifter sat in its normal hole but they have a different cross memeber so i need to no what to use. so if you no any thing about this please give me a yell and let me no!
    also
    my questions are
    1) is there any one here who has put one in there ke70 that could help me?
    2) dose any one no what crossmember i can use? if there is one?
3 dose it all have to be custom stuff?

any help on this will be appreciated

    thank you
    jarrad

k i'm going out on a limb here but because he has altered the enigne mounts to fit into the ke36 crossmember that originally housed a 4k this should bolt in to your 4k crossmember??? this is just a slightly wild guess but i thought i'd throw it out there..

You don't want to use the T18 Crossmember, as it has no provision for Rack and pinion steering, as fitted to your KE70. Unless you want to modify it of course.

    The 18R-G is a front-mid sump motor. I can't recall where the sump lies on a 4K.
Chances are you're going to have to fabricate some engine mounts to suit your application. Unless an Ae71 crossmember is a closer fit, but i doubt it.

Have a look where your sump lies and go from there.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
