don't stress, the panel van is still in the shed too lol
finally picked up my first ever 86 a few weeks ago. plans are to do a full restore and build it up to immaculate condition.
its got a little bit of rust here and there but nothing really major. will need a new radiator support panel as it had been repaired dodgy.
the car came with a few goodies,
full bolt in cage
brand new bc coilovers all round
alloy radiator
razorback ecu
new bucket seats
brand new turbo
4age and t50
extractors and exhaust
car is just about fully stripped, just got to remove the fuel lines, coilovers and refit some stock suspensions and then its ready for the sand blasters. main reason for wanting to sand blast is because I don't want to have to sand the inside or underneath, and it will get all the rust visible.
how it was when I picked it up
started stripping straight away

I'll probly run the cage. The 'resto' part is really just getting the body mint. Will still do my own little touches to it, mainly wanting it clean as fuck. So will start with making a rust free body.

Nice. Have you considered soda blasting aswell? Quite a few people doing it these days. It doesn't harm glass or rubber, not a big deal for you though as you've already stripped it

Yeah I considered all types of stripping ways, and found a cheap sand blaster do will go for that.

Yeah seen ur build man. Is mint IMO. I find a cheap sand blaster fairly local, charges $200 an hour and should only take about 3 hours or so. I'll just prime it myself.
