    tank->pump->surge tank->pump->fuel rail ?

    is this correct? does the hard fuel line thats sucking the fuel long enough to the bottom of the tank or do i need a extra lenght of hose?

    by doing this theres no need of in tank fuel pump? am i right? kinda confused now.

    tank->pump->surge tank->pump->fuel rail is correct.

    The standard pick up with the strainer is fine.

    You can run the lift pump in tank or external to tank. I had a pump in the tank so I left it there and is now my lift pump. If you don't have one in tank, it's usually easiest to have an external lift pump.

    yep rate the peirsburg pumps. used one a few years back when doing my fuel setup in my dato 1600, perfect for a lift pump and super quiet to.
    i just got it off ebay. same with my bosch 910, but be careful with them because their are a fair few fake ones going around.

    I like it Dave, however I feel it would be neater and more easily serviceable if you mounted the surge tank, pump mounts, and saddled the hoses to a plate that you could remove as a complete unit from the car. Then you dont have self tappers poking through your floor either. You could bolt it to the plate.

    Will be doing something similar in the 2az 86.

    I like this idea

    I would probably make a bracket up and weld it to the floor and make something up so it comes out as one piece and bolts to the bracket welded to the floor

    When I first read the tittle I thought for a second you were using an apps under tank haha
