    Ive never seen one that lighter blue but we did get this colour blue which is 8A9

    yer i have bits of one in the a89 code, not keen on it. i did ponder if it was similar to yours kane i was going to dig up the old tidy resprays usb, i thought yours was a bit greener!!

    yer was so simple but such a tough looking car that one!!
    well i have started work on this thing stripped most of the engine bay and took the rhf headlight panel off.
    After alot of years straightening cars on a globaljig ive used the idea on this chassis pull. THe globaljig holds the chassis on points as you straightne sections out i have addopted this idea by welding the rear pull point just after the last section of damaged rail.
    I am planning to replace the inner section of the rail and repair the flat outer piece of the rail. as always we will see how it turns out after some hydraulics.
    if all goes to plan i will repair the skirt section and replace the rhf headlight panel and top lock panel.

    ill see if i can video it pulling it out straight, but yes most of it will pull out like butter, compared to modern vehicles these chassis rails are weak as piss and are only mild steel so you can heat and tidy up with a hammer no probs. ive repaired alot worse!

    now this is a real repair 1000ks old barina sideways into a tree, all high strength steel including some shit in the a pillar that i couldnt even drill through. came out mint!Click image for larger version.

    Should really put a new rail/skirt/radiator support in it though, that rail is pretty messed up
