Ater alot of looking for a cool old school cruiser for this summer i couldnt resist buying this tidy stock 86. It is genkin's on heres old car "the vacationer".
Ive been panelbeating for 11 years now and thought it was about time i built something for myself again instead of fixing everyone elses cars.
Shees bone stock, interior is in very good condition, uncracked dash, bit o suspension work.
plans are pull chassis straight, replace inner c section of the chassis rail, pending on rhf skirt section pulling out nicely id like to repair that and the rhf headlight panel then just replace the top lock panel. after all these years of collecting 86 rubbish i have a few front cut sections sitting around ready for donation!
once straight i will replace the inner door appeture sections that are rusted. Do a little rust repair around a few spots and off to the booth for a respray maybe mazda 2 red. I have aquired the neccesary panels to replace (bonnet and guard)
I will put in an ajps lock spacer which i find is a standard requirement for any e series chassis. I have some ke30 lcas to go in. a window tint some neat looking rims then cruise away!
here is the begining i will post pics of the chassis repair as there is none anywhere else on the net!
