    more updates today

work time was cut short cause i had to drive the shuttle van up and down fox creek downhill track for my mates......by the end i was master hiace driver

got the LCA setup done on one side and coilover in.....had heaps of dramas at one point which also slowed progress

also got the brakes fitted on one side. they consist of RX7 calipers and EG civic rotors.....im lovin the disc behind the hub.....much better than my original setup.
i picked up those calipers rebuilt with new pads and adaptor brackets from yahoo for $60!!! what a bargin!

and just a lil something that i was messing round with.....test fitted a rim on the front, needs a 8mm-12mm spacer to clear the caliper but you get the idea:

and finally, they assume their correct location on the car....im thinking i might run these 25mm spacers i have here also. thoughts?

(i know, i know, it needs to be much lower....lawson will hook me up!)

You know what i'm thinking? You need to get this rolling so you can wash the dust off the fucking thing.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

is that bottom coller on your coilover supposed to be at the top flipped, or is that how its designed? looks like the spring seat.

those cusco lca/ caster setup looks awsome.

    updated

fitted the rear end stuff today

actually didnt fit the RCA's cause they didnt fit.....but oh well.

as you can see, it looks good. notice how my panhard rod is almost totally horizontal.....thoughts.
springs are totally captive at full droop with the HTS shocks. they are 4.5kg springs for those that are interested. here is a photo of the springs that came out compared to the new ones....

fitted my cusco engine mounts and gearbox mount too. was REALLY disappointed with how the gearbox mount fitted. i had to modify it with a hammer ALOT to make it fit......not a happy camper.

also fitted my kouki parkers....just something small, but makes me happy. they also came with the looms, so that was a bonus.

LOTS more happening tomorrow, i have some motivation, better not let it go to waste
