    Default AE86 indicator issue

    Car - AE85/6

Motor - 4AGE (complete swap from 3K running gear)

problem - the problem is with the indicators. They can't continue flashing. Once they've been running for a while they stop flashing. Turning them on again only sees them Flash for a few seconds and then switch off.

occurs/started when (if applicable)- it showed the first signs of doing it last year but recently has become regular.

personal situation (if applicable)- I'd really like to know how to resolve this issue or have someone who knows that they're doing to fix it for me. I've fitted 2 relay boxes but the issue is still here.
    Cheers
    Matt.

I can't find my volt meter to test it so I'm not sure.

If the indicators stop flashing and just stay on then the flasher can or flasher relay if you prefer is probably not working correctly

I've replaced the indicator relay inside the driver's footwell twice but the problem still exists.

Thanks Johl. I'll give him a call and see what he can do. It's pissing me off I'm just not driving this car these days.
I'm home on the 7th of November. You'll have to come over for a few drinks. Dan is working the G20 so he's in Brisbane. Hopefully we can all catch up.
I just got back from Japan on Thursday and have a few goodies.

    Hi Johl,

I have Whitey a call. He was awesome. He cameto my place, fixed the indicator issue, sorted my interior light and even had a look at my little van's dashboard. Sorted all 3 problems quickly and all for $100. He's a really good guy and I'll definitely be using him again in the future. Highly recommended.
