    Finally got around to picking up a welder
    Started welding up all the holes in the bay, done half of them so far
    Havent welded for a few years so some parts are alot rougher than others
    Its all getting ground down smooth so it isnt too bad


    Welded up the radiator support part too, noticed theres alot of holes along there that arent used
    Random huge ones which look like it was from bonnet pins
    Welding all of them up & laying some bog over to start fresh
    still in early stages


    Had to weld some bolts to the under side of the holes to plug the hole, theres probably a cleaner way but it worked fine
    Going to cut the excess bolt thread off & grind it down so it isnt noticeable

    Really respect professional welders, its definitely harder than it looks!

    You need to clamp a thick strip of brass under the metal so you you can pool the steel nicely and fill it without needing to grind the back. Usually you will have the wire poking through on the back and its quite sharp if you don't.

    Speeds it up a lot.
