Layed down a thick coat of body deadener to the floor, it used to be so noisy
Got the scrubning brush out & cleaned all the dust out, also repaired the rust hole in the wheel well & filled the hole where a roll cage used to bolt into
still has the factory deadener & running full interior + carpets
Hopefully it quiets it down a bit whilst driving
Could barely hear the radio before!
Planning on using dynamat on the doors too once its all together again

Started to put the cooling system back in
It originally had a remote thermostat setup so im keeping that style & bought all new hoses & clamps
tridon high flow thermostat to replace the old gunked up one in there also

I also changed the top water outlet to the one facing the radiator rather than the one facing upwards (refer to pic) of course the rear piece was seized on so that took a few hits to break free
still need to paint it all up

The rear housing of the block im changing to the one on the right, more compact - even though the left (4agze mr2) one fit it was mighty close to the firewall
all new sensors on the way also

lots of goodies on the way big & small, should be here anyday now

Auszoku hoodie with a sticker pack, so cool! - had to laugh at the r33 boat reference one :p
Goes well with the ae86dc hoodie i bought a while back
Also a model i'll make which will look just like my car

cooling setup all painted up & mounted

    Hey, I was wondering...
Do you know how much extra weight the sound deadening/dynamat/etc will add?
I can understand it's in the pursuit of a more comfortable ride, but what is the compromise in terms of light weight vehicle....?

I used 4kg of sound deadening all up + sprayed the underneath
then dynamat maybe 5 or so kg
its not all that much, i personally want to quieten it down because its a street car

flip side is remove all interior panels, one seat, sound deadener removed, strip it all down
    loose 20kgs or so

i get why weight reduction is great, but for my build id rather be able to drive it without getting a headache, hear others in the car talk & listen to the radio

    Yeah fair call.
I can totally see where you're coming from. It's a street build and you want it to be comfortable.

    More speed flow bits arrived

Ordered a few of the wrong bits - hard to tell by the pictures given & the company sent some incorrect bits - different sized item in the package
sent them back & ordered the correct ones
bit of a pain but these things happen haha

Started on the brake line tuck
    From bottom to top
    (Rear, left brake, right brake)

Im running the rear & left brake lines into the cabin
Left sides getting tucked up high away from anything to a bulkhead then to the caliper
Rear away from pedals, feet or anything else to a bulkhead then down to the prop valve

    Clutch line same idea
90 degree bulkhead from the master to a straight bulkhead, tuck it away to another bulkhead then braided line to clutch slave

should get a bit done over the weekend
Then wait for the tube nuts to arrive, flare lines then put it all together
