Corona rt142
So, I finally got a rt142 corona,
Have always liked them, and have always wanted one, and now I finally do, gonna keep this nice and simple and short,
Was at the time chucking a beams 3sge into a ra65, then swapped my daily st141 corona wagon, and $800 for this rt142
It's pretty stock, just has choppies, and the 22re has a turbo setup on it, completely stock motor, stock ecu, just runs 5psi boost and some adjusted timing, doesn't ping or anything, actually goes half decent,
Anyways, I'm getting rid of the celica shell, keeping all my beams parts for this corona for when the 22re lets go.
First thing to do is Install some s13 front gear I got lying around, and chuck ma61's on and get it rego'd and just enjoy it for abit

do you know what size turbo it is? spool up nice and early? im looking at doing similar with mine just with a aftermarket ecu and maybe a few more psi
Nah not sure on size, external size about the same as like t25 but internal size obviously looks bigger, will check numbers tomorrow and let you know what it is, and yeah it spools up pretty decent , not too leggy or anything

Small update, just been fixing little bits and pieces and tidying up,
Exhaust - turbo flange kept getting a leak
So replaced the gasket and bolts, also rotated turbo housing to make bay look abit neater ,
Just waiting for the tax man to give me some money in the next few days and will go purchase some ma61 wheels for time being and some mx73 bc coilovers, and some rego!

That's funny, you have my old ra65 AND 22re turbo gear, which were once in the same car. I hope they bring you as much joy as they did to me!
