    Default 86 with 4g63

    So, I thought I'd start a thread seems I have re-motivated myself to finishing and final drive my car again.

    Specs:

    EXTERIOR
    JDM hackback
    Trueno
    Started


    Panda
    Kouki Front bar fitted with Zenki lip
    Red line tail lights

    INTERIOR
    Striped out, only dash and door cards
    Full bolt in cage
    Sparco steering wheel

    STEERING & SUSPENSION
    Front
    all rose-joisted and adjustable
    inserts unknown
    springs unknown

    Rear
    struts HST102R
    springs unknown
    4 link only bottom arm adjustable (Like that from Japan)

    Engine/ Drive line
    4G63 with 3076 gtx
    W58
    G series diff axles re drilled to 4x114


    Brakes
    RX7 fc s4 all round
    BM44 (still need to buy)

    Wheels
    Work 03
    15x8.5 -13
    Super lites
    15x10 -27

    I'm sure there's things I've forgot but I'll as I go.

    The story really starts well I was going to attend a Downshift circuit and coffee, when I unfortunately cracked a piston

    Bored so I thought I'd put up a few more pics of what I've done recent

    Originally was going to use r31 rear brakes but the guy that bought the hilux diff off pretty much stuff up on the mounting point so the strut mounting point are to close to the ends so the calipers foul on the struts. So I went which the rx7 because they the handbrake pulls from the side where the r31 pulls forwards to activate the handbrake. Probable a bit of and an over kill but the get that..


    Got bracket made up to take the rx7 rear brakes

    Also fitted the my Zenki lip to my Kouki bumper with the help of this thread.

    P.s. 2 wheelie bins are the best thing to sit the front bar on to stretch the lip on

    So a bit more progress. Got my catch can/ washer bottle made up


    And welded on bottom radiator mounts

    Got busy on my car today....

    Bought an 4g63 manifold from eBay


    Cut the welds on the manifold


    Ran too much nos.....!




    Redirect the throttle body



    Mounted my front lip permanently

    4g63. Best 2litre ever produced in my opinion. Great build, keen on watching the progress.

    Awesome work! Mounting kit was easy to find for the 4g? Or did you make your own?
