Default Speedo works but Odometer does not?

Hello, has anyone encountered this before?

My ADM speedo turns and works good but the odometer and trip meter are not rotating.

Has anyone got any info to share on this matter? I'm due to pull it apart and do the dli tacho mod but Ill source another cluster if its considered unfixable.

    Cheers,

    Matt

There is a little plastic gear that runs off the speedo drive to turn the odometer. Mine never worked and discovered the problem when I took mine apart. It could be a simple as the gear popping out of its guide which would require clipping it back into place or, in my case, the plastic gear had actually broken.

I've got a working spare AE86 ADM cluster with 232347km on the ODO if you need one down the track.

I think I got to the bottom of it. I could hear something rattling around inside the case after removal and out fell a small plastic component, black in colour and I noticed that the trip meter resets but isn't driven at all and neither is the odometer. Being that something has snapped I need some new bits.

Same problem here. Doesn't seem like a common problem but obviously something gives way in there eventually.
