The last big event the red KE was a few months ago and it performed really well. On the last lap of the day it took a massive hit in the driver door bending the A pillar and exposing a lot of rust. This shell come up for sale and was too good to pass on so all my gear is being taken out the red KE and swapped over. Plans for this are full cage, new rear guards and just a bit of a tidy up after a few years of sitting around. Im also keen to try a few track days aswell now the car has decent brakes.

One of the last events in the red KE, Re Run Top 4 battle

FRP bonnet and boot saving around 18KG




Larger trans tunnel was already done to suit the J160 gearbox




Link ECU will still be used and get a retune once its all running


Racepak,dash and handbrake are all getting swapped into the black car


R32 Calipers and Cressida discs fitted to the Hilux diff

Mind if I ask where you got the boot and bonnet from?

The boot and bonnet were made by buddy parts about 5/6 years ago. Only 2 of each were made, apparently the other bonnet was smashed and the other boot lid was sold a few months ago.

Holy shit I remember seeing that at buddyparts about 6 years ago when it was silver slant with a beams! Good to see it redirected
