Hey
Thought I'd join up and learn and share some knowlage. I've been reading the forum for a few years now and even tho I don't have an 86, My little Adub is sorta the same haha.
Ive had it for just coming up on 10years and it's been through a lot of different phases, different wheels, mods and all that jazz.
It's a red 87 Aus Del hardtop.
with a Bigport 4AGE.
it has:
Tomei Poncams
RS*R Headers
exhaust
Intake
just an the usual haha
made a cheeky 73.9kw
I have a few things I'm getting ready to do like ECU so I'm in need of a little info, hence the reason I've dropped in.
Enjoy!

Wow, pretty tidy mate.
Just about to start doing a refresh/Aftermarket ECU on the engine.
So once my ECU gets here I believe there is a few things that I'll need a few answers to inregards to that. Early days yet haha
The old girl has served me well over the last 10 years so time to give alittle back.
I have slowly sorted out the suspension over the last 2 years to where I'm happy, with coilovers, poly bushes, ball joints etc. So the engine is about the last thing to get a good going over, and I'm half keen on doing it myself. So that will be where most of my questions will be based on.
What have you got in yours? GZE?
Fair enough! I haven't got any experience with the ECU field.
10 years is a long time to have an AW11 - they definitely seem to need a bit of upkeep, haha.
Yes, mine is a GZE, with an SC14 supercharger. Standard ECU, so it could probably be optimised a bit.

There is a video series on tuning basics and fundamentals which I am about to check out located on the up acadamy website
I've read reviews and they seam positive so maybe check it out. Being na you should be ok tuning it yourself , allot more forgiving than a forced induction motor
