Default My ae86 has 5x120 stud pattern and I want to go back

Hey guys so I have just purchased my very first ae86 and would like to fit some nice small 14 or 15inch wheels.
My problem is the 86 I have purchased has "apparently" r33 front brakes which are massive and the 17inch wheels barely fit over the calliper and for some reason in a 5x120 stud pattern (-_-)
In the rear I can fit a 15inch wheel no problem because "apparently" they are a Nissan s14 rear brake set up with 5x120 stud pattern! To me this is weird as shit and I'm lost and in need of direction.

What is my best options to getting smaller brakes on the front and getting back to 4x114.3 all round?

    I'm a ae86 rookie btw.

Need to check what hubs/suspension you're running up front. With the r33 brakes, you may be running s13 gear.

The rear will need the axles redrilled and restud. Might be cheaper to get new axles depending on what diff you have in there.

5 stud conversion isn't weird but has become less common in the last few years as the period-correct look has come back in fashion.

If you're running Nissan gear your stud pattern will be 5x114.3. 5x120 is Holden and BMW.

You should be able to get 16s to clear the Nissan brakes so maybe consider sticking with the 5 stud setup and go with some dished mesh wheels, superlites etc. in a 16"? That way you keep the good brakes and save the expense of changing everything.

Oh right so you can simply re drill the rear axle. Hopefully the front is s13 would make it a lot easier I will have to check tomorrow

The brake calliper stay Nissan but definatly a 5x120
I did consider 16s in the pcd I have just cause big brakes are not a bad thing but I am just not sure if 16s may be just a inch to big for the low wide look I'm going for.
