Default Canberra AE86 / Motec assistance

    G'day all,

Is anyone in Canberra around to help me trouble-shoot the Motec in my AE86?

It is not firing the fuel pump and is giving me the .... well, it's not starting.

It's a very very long story, which includes an HKS Supercharger kit, bypass valve, water-methanol injection.... etc.... Details I have taken the loom out and checked everything, but just can't work it out. I'm am an Arts Graduate, not an electrical engineer.

Whoever helps getting the thing running gets a go in it at Wakefield at the first opportunity. Seriously.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I recall motec having inbuilt COR. How is the pump wired up?

    Good question.
The fuel pump relay activated by Aux 4 from the Motec. The Motec primes the pump for about 3 seconds when the ignition is turned on.

    What model motec?
Aux 4 should be connected to pin 85 on the relay (triggered earth)
Pin 87 fused 20a then Fuel pump output
    Pin 86 fused 20a feed 12+
Pin 30 12+ input from battery (fused)

Try fuel pump test in the software. It is under
    Diagnostics / auxillary outputs
Test injectors (without fuel pump power connected)
    Test fuel pump aux 4.
